Sponsorship and Operation of a Water Station by ZOZO Employees at the 43rd Tsukuba Marathon

We proudly sponsored the 43rd Tsukuba Marathon, held in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, on November 26, 2023. This marks our fifth time supporting the event since 2019, as part of our commitment to community contribution. On the day of the event, six individuals, including our Director and COO HIROSE Fuminori and other company employees, participated in the marathon as runners.

This year, our staff from the ZOZOBASE TSUKUBA Logistics Center operated one of the thirteen water stations to deliver "smiles and cheers" to the runners. They provided water in ZOZO-original cups.

The enthusiastic support from ZOZO employees, along with handwritten motivational messages on the water cups, received numerous words of gratitude from the marathon participants. Many expressed that the encouragement at the ZOZO booth gave them the strength and courage to complete the race, and they realized the incredible power of support.

We will continue to engage in various community contribution activities in collaboration with Tsukuba City, contributing to sustainable local development.
