More than two decades have passed since we launched ZOZOTOWN in 2004. From an era when buying clothes online was far from ordinary, we have taken on challenge after challenge, growing as the times have changed.

Today, ZOZO stands at a defining turning point unlike any before.

The world is in the midst of dramatic change — and above all, we see the rise of AI as a powerful tailwind propelling us toward our next stage. Behind this lies something only ZOZO can offer: a vast amount of fashion-specific data and technology, and proprietary expertise in "niau" — the deeply personal and complex question of what truly looks and feels right for each individual.

Drawing on these distinctive strengths, we will deliver new value and experiences to our customers — not only when they buy clothes, but across a wider range of moments when they enjoy fashion. We are evolving from the place to buy fashion into the place for all things fashion.


To bring this future to life, we have formulated our Medium-Term Business Plan — a set of challenges targeting 2030. We will make ZOZOTOWN even stronger, build new pillars of revenue, and expand what ZOZO can be, including through global growth.

At its core is our ZOZOTOWN business, where we are focused on developing a fashion-specific AI agent — one that understands each customer's individuality and preferences deeply enough to deliver "niau." Our aim is to bring richer, more innovative fashion experiences to reality.

In Japan, we will expand into fashion-adjacent fields such as fragrance and self-care. Overseas, we will accelerate our business expansion around Lyst, a fashion shopping platform, and ZOZOFIT, our 3D body scanning service that has surpassed one million downloads, primarily in North America — bringing ZOZO's distinctive technology and expertise to the world.


Even as we step onto this new stage, one thing will never change — our unwavering belief in the power of fashion.
Fashion enriches our lives, walks alongside us, and at times gives us the courage to take a new step forward. We want to bring that power to as many people as we can. We want to be a source of strength for our brand partners, and energize the fashion industry together. That, we believe, is our mission.
