ZOZO Selected for the first time, for Inclusion in the "FTSE4Good Index Series," "FTSE Blossom Japan Index," and "FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index."

ZOZO, Inc. (headquartered in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director, President & CEO: SAWADA Kotaro), which operates the fashion e-commerce ZOZOTOWN, announces that it has been selected for inclusion in the “FTSE4Good Index Series,” a representative stock index of ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) investment, and for “FTSE Blossom Japan Index” and “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index,” which are indexes of ESG investment specifically for Japanese companies, for the first time_（*1）.

“FTSE4Good Index Series,” “FTSE Blossom Japan Index” and “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index” are indexes, established by London Stock Exchange Group company FTSE Russell, a provider of global investment analysis and indexes. And “FTSE Blossom Japan Index” and “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index” are ESG indexes, adopted by GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund,) the world’s largest pension fund.

Therefore, ZOZO has now been a constitution of all of six ESG indexes GPIF adopted for Japanese stocks _(*2).

ZOZO announced Sustainability Statement “Fashion Connects and Leads us to a Sustainable Future.” and four Key Actions _(*3) in April 2021, and have worked on enhancing sustainable growth as a company and solving environmental and social issues.
