Tiger Woods Announces His Participation in The Very First PGA TOUR Tournament in Japan, “ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP” This Fall, Hosted by Title Sponsor ZOZO, Inc.

ZOZO, Inc.(CEO Yusaku Maezawa, Headquarters in Chiba city), operating the Japanese online fashion website “ZOZOTOWN” has become the title sponsor of the PGA TOUR golf tournament ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP”, which will take place on 2019 October 24st~27th. Tiger Woods, the legendary professional golfer with an overwhelming recognition has announced his participation in the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP.
April 24th on his official twitter account, “I’m excited to play in the inaugural ZOZO Championship in October, and return to Japan, one of my favorite countries. It’s going to be a fun fall.”
Establishing an astonishing record of first place in the former world rankings, winning 15 major tournaments, as well as earning the most prize money in history throughout his career, the ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP will be the first tournament that Woods will be participating in the Kanto area of Japan. In addition, this will be his first time in 13 years playing in a tournament held in Japan since Dunlop Phoenix Tournament in 2006.
The whole world is excited about his performance this year, due to his fifth Masters title for his 81st career PGA TOUR win.
