In FY 2023, We Conducted Outreach Classes at 108 Schools Nationwide for Elementary, Junior High, High School, and University Students

Our company, under the corporate philosophy "Inspire the world. Deliver joy every day.," supports career education at educational institutions with our employees acting as lecturers. In FY 2023, we conducted outreach classes at 108 schools nationwide, including those in Tsukuba, Miyazaki, and other regions, focusing on our headquarters area of Chiba. These classes reached a total of 8,010 students from elementary school to university and amounted to 273 hours of instruction. (*)

(*) As one of our four key initiatives "Contribute to sustainable community development," we have set the KPI of "Connecting with the next generation under 20 and contributing to regional revitalization" by 2030.

In these On-Demand-Delivery Classes, employees from our Friendship Management Department, which is responsible for supporting the next generation, delivered a wide range of programs. These included explanations of how ZOZOTOWN's services work, quizzes based on our corporate logo concept "Be unique. Be equal." that emphasize "work with fun," and workshops that encourage students to think about their future careers.

Feedback from students included comments like, "What impressed me was that to enjoy working, it's important to make an effort and act without giving up," and "I realized the importance of cooperation with peers and effective communication in the real world." Teachers also shared their thoughts, saying, "It made me feel the importance of personal values and proactive behavior, and it was a learning experience for me as well."

<Thoughts from the Person in Charge>
Our company's On-Demand-Delivery Classes, which started in FY 2020, were held at a record number of 108 schools nationwide in FY 2023. We have received positive responses not only from students but also from teachers and staff, and we continue to expand our connections year by year. By emphasizing our company's cherished culture of "work with fun" in these classes, we aim to provide opportunities for children to take control of their own lives.

We will continue to expand the circle of education rooted in the community together with teachers, staff, and local residents.

We will continue to support young people who will lead the future through various initiatives, including career education support, and contribute to positive changes in society as a whole.
