Conducted Social Experience Training for Teaching Staff in Chiba City

With our corporate philosophy of "Inspire the world. Deliver joy every day.", we have taken various initiatives including providing On-Demand-Delivery Class and career education support, by having our employees serve as instructors. We conducted a three-day 'Chiba City Mid-level Teacher Qualification Improvement Training (Social Experience Training)' for 22 teaching staff members from elementary and junior high schools in Chiba City who have over 10 years of service.

In our training sessions led by the Friendship Management Department, responsible for internal communications, we provided an overview of ZOZOTOWN's mechanisms as well as our corporate philosophy. Additionally, we conducted workshops on the theme of  working with fun and “Souzou no Nanameue (Imagine the unexpected. Chart the unexplored.)” which is one of the unique qualities that define the ZOZO Way. Moreover, the Hospitality Department, which is in charge of customer support, delivered lectures and workshops on 'how to interact with customers in the upcoming era.' Additionally, the Fulfillment Department showed the attendees the entire workflow at “ZOZOBASE NARASHINO 1,' from product arrival to shipping, and provided hands-on shelf-stocking experience.

The participating teachers gave us feedback such as: "The training at ZOZO was so impactful it changed my outlook on life," "This is the first time a training session has shaken me to my core," "Seeing people at ZOZOBASE work hard to enjoy their jobs makes me want to stay sprightly too!" and "The phrases 'taking action for someone else' and 'thinking of proposals that make people happy' from customer support were impressive."

We will continue to foster initiatives that capitalize on the strengths of both schools and companies to support the career development of the next generation.
