Conducted social experience training for teachers in Chiba City
In August 2021, we conducted an online social experience training program for 14 teachers in Chiba City.
Chiba City conducts the "Quality Improvement Training for Mid-level Teachers, etc." for teachers in elementary and junior high schools who have been working for more than 10 years. The aim is to develop teachers who can collect information on social needs and occupations and promote career education. Employees of various companies act as lecturers to conduct training. We also held three days of training for teaching staff on the content of ZOZO’s own work (*) and work styles.
On the day, the Friendship Management division, which is in charge of internal communication, the EC Business division, which serves as a contact point for brands opening stores, the Hospitality division, which provides customer support, and the Fulfillment division employees, who are in charge of the logistics portion, served as lecturers, talking about their own work and what they are aware of in order to "work with fun."
Participating teachers commented, "I realized that we were creating an environment in which people could work with fun, not because we were given it, but because we wanted to create an environment in which people could enjoy working. I wanted to create an environment in which people could enjoy their own classes.”“ I learned how to live and ideal situation rather than how to work, and it is a wealth for me."
I would like to continue to support the young people who will lead the next generation by cooperating with schools and local residents to support career education and other activities.
(*)The word "work" is ordinarily spelled as 仕事 (shi-goto), using a character 仕 (shi) represents "serving" by its literal meaning. Instead, we use a character 自 (shi) which is pronounced in a same way but represents "self (natural)" by its literal meaning. This implies we are not serving to someone or forced to work, but are working naturally and spontaneously.
