ZOZO Selected for the "Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index" for the Third Consecutive Year

ZOZO, Inc. (headquartered in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director, President & CEO: SAWADA Kotaro), which operates the fashion e-commerce ZOZOTOWN, announces that on May 1, 2026, it has been selected for inclusion in the "Dow Jones Best-in-Class Asia Pacific Index" ("DJBIC Asia Pacific") for the third consecutive year.*¹ The DJBIC Asia Pacific comprises companies in the Asia-Pacific region within the "Dow Jones Best-in-Class Indices" ("DJBICI"), a globally recognized benchmark for ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investment, for the third consecutive year.

The DJBICI is a globally recognized benchmark for ESG investment published by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC in the United States. Based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) conducted by S&P Global, companies are evaluated from environmental, social, and governance/economic perspectives—and those demonstrating superior sustainability performance are selected as constituents.

The Company has been selected as a constituent of the DJBIC Asia Pacific, which consists of companies in Japan, Asia, and Oceania, for the third consecutive year, receiving higher ratings than last year in the areas of Business Ethics, Packaging, and Climate Strategy.

In addition to the DJBIC Asia Pacific, the Company has continuously been selected as a constituent of all six ESG indices for Japanese equities adopted by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).*²

The Company has worked on enhancing sustainable growth as a company and solving environmental and social issues since April 2021, based on its Sustainability Statement, "Fashion Connects and Leads us to a Sustainable Future," and four Key Actions.*³ The Company will further strengthen to  achieve the goal it has set, and to realize a sustainable world of fashion that considers the environment and society.
