ZOZO NEXT, Inc. Announces New Representative Director, CEO

ZOZO, Inc. (headquartered in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director, President & CEO: SAWADA Kotaro), which operates the fashion e-commerce ZOZOTOWN, announces that SAWADA Kotaro, Representative Director, President & CEO of ZOZO, Inc., has been appointed new Representative Director, CEO of ZOZO NEXT, Inc. as of today, August 31, 2022.

In addition, Christine EDMAN, an executive officer of ZOZO, Inc., has been appointed a director of ZOZO NEXT, Inc. as of today. With the participation of EDMAN, who is in charge of managing the sales division, we aim to reflect research technologies in our businesses and realize new initiatives at a faster pace.

KANAYAMA Yuki, the former CEO, has resigned as Representative Director, CEO as of August 31, 2022.

Born in 1970, Kanagawa Prefecture. Joined NTT DATA Corporation after graduating from Waseda University in the Faculty of Science and Engineering. Gained experience at two consulting companies prior to establishing and taking a position of Representative Director of Start Today Consulting Co., Ltd. in 2008, runs a service aimed towards apparel manufacturers to support their own e-commerce sites. In August 2013, Start Today Consulting Co., Ltd. was absorbed into Start Today Co., Ltd. (current ZOZO, Inc.) and he was appointed a Director of the company. In September 2019, he has been appointed Representative Director, President & CEO of ZOZO, Inc. (to present.) In August 2022, he has been appointed Representative Director, CEO of ZOZO NEXT, Inc.
