ZOZO, Inc. and yutori entered a capital and business alliance agreement
～ Creating synergies by collaborating on apparel product manufacturing and cooperation of inventory management, etc.～
ZOZO, Inc. （Headquarters: Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director, President, and CEO: Kotaro Sawada）, which operates fashion e-commerce site "ZOZOTOWN," announced that the company entered the agreement on a capital and business alliance （the capital and business alliance based on this agreement is referred to as the "Business Alliance" ）with yutori（Headquarters: Shibuya City, Tokyo, Representative Director and CEO: Takanori Kataishi）, which manages Japan's largest second-hand clothing community and handles multiple D2C brands.
yutori has its strength in operation of business targeting younger generations from early teens to early 20s. yutori operates a fashion community “Furugi-joshi”, one of the largest second-hand apparel community in Japan, produces multiple D2C brands such as “9090” and operates an IP business which handles virtual influencers.
We have determined that this Business Alliance will bring diversified benefits to our business by utilizing the know-how of social media marketing, and networks to young designers and influencers, which yutori has been accumulating through producing young talents and evolve them into fashion brands.
In terms of specific business alliance details, we have reached an agreement on collaboration in the apparel business related to product manufacturing, cooperation of systems related to inventory control and others. We aim for further growth and development of both companies.
