Earning the naming rights of the Chiba Marine Stadium, and renaming it to “ZOZO Marine Stadium”.

The online fashion website “ZOZOTOWN” (http://zozo.jp/) operated by Start Today Co., Ltd. (CEO Yusaku Maezawa, Headquarters in Chiba city) has acquired the naming rights of the Chiba Marine Stadium. The stadium was named based on the collaboration of “ZOZOTOWN”, the online shopping website of Start Today, and “Marine”, which is a familiar term among the local residents of Chiba. Start Today’s headquarters is located in Chiba city, Makuhari since 2001, and has been actively participating in community contributing activities ever since. Start Today first applied for the naming rights of the Chiba Marine Stadium in 2010 from the thought of wanting to further support the activation of the Makuhari community, however, the first request was denied. This was our second attempt, where Start Today finally earned the naming rights of the stadium.

Start Today is planning to host events where both Marine fans and members of the community can enjoy at the ZOZO Marine Stadium, by cooperating with Chiba city and Chiba Rotte Marines. Moreover, Start Today will contribute to the development of Chiba city / Makuhari by cooperation with the members of the community.

Our main activities related to community contribution:

• In-house system “Makuhari Allowance”: An allowance of 50,000 Yen for employees who live near the Makuhari area.
• Participation in the “Makuhari cleaning day” (twice a year), where companies located in Makuhari gather and clean the area.
• Joint sponsorship in the “Makuhari beach fireworks festival” held in Kaihin park every summer.
• The CEO of Start Today has donated 1 million yen to the “Chiba Marine Stadium foundation” in the purpose of facility renovation.
• Providing the design of the uniforms created by the collaboration with the professional baseball team “Chiba Lotte Marines” for the “QVC Marine field” crew.
• Providing the design of the uniform to the professional basketball team “China Jets” for their first overseas tour.
• Providing designs of the uniform and joint sponsorship for the Legend Match of the professional soccer team, “Jeff United Ichihara / Chiba”.
• Acquisition of the naming rights of the “ZOZOPARK HONDA FOOTBALL AREA, based in Makuhari, and operated by the professional soccer player, Keisuke Honda’s agent.
