Donation of Former Crew Uniforms from ZOZO Marine Stadium to "FURUGI de WAKU-CHAN"

Since 2015, we have been in charge of producing the crew uniforms worn by the crew at ZOZO Marine Stadium as part of a joint project with the Chiba Lotte Marines. In March 2024, we switched to new crew uniforms, and together with the Chiba Lotte Marines, we donated the former crew uniforms, used from 2022 to 2024, to the recycling service "FURUGI de WAKU-CHAN"(*) operated by Japan Reuse System Corporation.

(*) "FURUGI de WAKU-CHAN" is a joint project between Japan Reuse System Corporation and the certified NPO Japan Committee, Vaccines for the World's Children. It involves exporting and selling unwanted clothes, bags, shoes, and other items worldwide. For every donation, polio vaccines for five children in developing countries are provided. This initiative also contributes to the SDGs by supporting the independence of people with disabilities both domestically and internationally.

This time, we donated 76 bags (5,170 items) of used clothing, equivalent to approximately 380 doses of polio vaccines. These clothes will be exported and sold mainly in Cambodia and other developing countries, contributing to local employment and business creation.

We will continue to work with the Chiba Lotte Marines on various activities to contribute to sustainable community development.
