ZOZO Part-Time Staff Has Received the "Director-General's Award for Effort" at the "Reiwa 5th Year Excellent Employer of Persons with Disabilities Recognition (Within Chiba Prefecture)"

A part-time staff member employed at our Logistics Center "ZOZOBASE NARASHINO 2," who is part of our disability employment program, has been honored with the "Director-General's Award for Effort" at the "Reiwa 5th Year Excellent Employer of Persons with Disabilities Recognition (Within Chiba Prefecture)."

The "Excellent Employer of Persons with Disabilities Recognition" is organized by the "Independent Administrative Institution for Employment Support for the Elderly, Persons with Disabilities, and Job Seekers." It acknowledges business establishments that actively hire a significant number of persons with disabilities and individuals with disabilities who have continued to work as exemplary professionals over a long period. The awards commend their efforts and achievements in promoting the employment of persons with disabilities and stabilizing their career paths.

The award was given to Mr. Takahiro Miyano for his exemplary communication with fellow part-time staff while working (*) on his own tasks in a rapidly changing environment, his ability to make flexible judgments in response to situations, and for setting an example for other staff through his innovative approach to work.

We remain committed to creating an environment where every individual can unleash their full potential, fostered by our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

(*) The word "work" is ordinarily spelled as 仕事 (shi-goto), using a character 仕 (shi) represents "serving" by its literal meaning. Instead, we use a character 自 (shi) which is pronounced in a same way but represents "self (natural)" by its literal meaning. This implies we are not serving to someone or forced to work, but are working naturally and spontaneously.
