Pride Month Initiatives

As part of our activities to "Promote diversity and inclusion among everyone involved in fashion," which is one of Key Actions in promoting sustainability, we changed the ZOZOTOWN service logo and corporate logo to rainbow colors during "Pride Month" from June 1 (Wed.) to June 30 (Thu.), and opened a special web page on ZOZOTOWN.

We also held In-house events to encourage correct understanding of LGBTQIA+. On the day of the event, we had a talk session on "Sexuality and Gender" with OKOCHI Motoki, President of Kenzo Paris Japan K.K., who we invited as a special guest, and our Representative Director, President & CEO, SAWADA. In addition, Mr. OKOCHI and our employees had a panel discussion on the theme of "Self-expression and Fashion." The event was streamed live online and attended by about 300 employees.

In a internal survey taken at a later date, we received comments such as: "By listening to the opinions of both parties and non-parties, I was able to understand the ideals and realities that more realistically," and "It was great opportunity to hear honest comments such as the considerations and ideas of other company's LGBTQIA+, and the difficulties to implement."

We will continue to create an environment where every employee can demonstrate their potential through the promotion of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
