PGA TOUR "ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP 2021" charity and volunteers

We conducted charity and volunteer activities through the convention at PGA TOUR tournament "ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP 2021" (held from October 21 to 24, 2021) where we serve as the title sponsor for the convention: Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club.

～About Charity～
Through charity activities conducted through this event, we donated a total of approximately 30 million yen (*) to three organizations: Chiba Prefecture, the host of the Games as support for the promotion of local sports; the Japan Federation of High Schools and Middle Schools, which trains junior high school golfers dreaming of their success worldwide; and First Tee Japan, an NPO that implements programs to foster children's rich humanity and values through golf.

(*) Converted to 1$=118 yen (rate at the time of remittance), the remittance was in USD.

The donation amount includes the entire amount of sales of items signed by the player, including items actually used in the event, that were lottery sold on ZOZOTOWN as a charity plan.

～About volunteers～
A total of more than 2,000 volunteers participated in this event. Not only did the number of volunteers recruited exceed that of other competitions in Japan, but despite the short period of recruitment, we received more entries than we had assumed from a wide range of generations.

We will continue to actively contribute to the local community and nurture the next generation, which is our base and the host of ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP, through the holding of PGA TOUR tournament ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP.
