Start Today invests in “Materialwrld.com” and “FashionValet.com”
Materialwrld
The online fashion website “ZOZOTOWN” (http://zozo.jp/) operated by Start Today Co., Ltd. (CEO Yusaku Maezawa, Headquarters in Chiba city) has started investing in the American secondary clothing EC platform “Materialwrld.com” (headquarters in NYC) and “Materialwrld Inc.” (headquarters in US, Join CEO: Rie Yano, Jie Zheng) as of March 30th, 2016. Materialwrld.com is a secondary EC shopping platform, which offers apparel, bags, etc., of luxury brands, mainly to female customers whom they provide prepaid cards for shopping at Materialwrld. Materialwrld will use this investment to strengthening their capital investment, operating capital, marketing and company structure.
Start Today not only has financially invested into Materialwrld, but will also contribute by sharing its knowledge and business experience from working in the EC industry, which Start Today has gained from operating ZOZOUSED. Start Today aims to increase the value and customer experience of both companies.

Fashion Valet will use this investment to strengthening its function of “FahionValet.com”, marketing, company structure and expanding its logistics center. Start Today will not only provide financial investment to Fashion Valet, but will also share its knowledge and experience, as well as marketing advice / support gained from operating the “WEAR” app. Start Today aims to increase the value and improve customer experiences of both companies.
